TECHNOLOGY

ROSS

Virtual Chief Information Officer

  • I have been with STR Technologies for 11 years. In addition to my professional work, I have a passion for riding my bicycle and volunteering around Washington. I believe the only way to do great work is to love what you do.

JEREMY

Centralized Services & Automation Admin

  • I’ve worked at STR for 7 years. In my spare time I’m typically building or painting some miniatures or spoiling my dog Pixel. There is no distance I wouldn’t drive to get some Raising Cane’s chicken tenders.

JOSIAH

Help Desk Manager

  • I'm a tabletop game enthusiast, blade smith, leatherworker, and apologetics aficionado. I've always been drawn to hands-on hobbies that allow me to create and express myself, and these passions have become a big part of who I am.

I'm driven by a desire to create, explore, and understand the world around me, and I look forward to continuing to do so in the years to come.

JOHN

Alignment Compliance Engineer

  • I was a professional musician for 10+ years who pivoted to pursue a career in technology. I still play music for fun, but spend most of my time gaming, lifting weights, or at Cardinals/Battlehawks events. Confirmed as the best-looking bald guy at STR. I’m also the most humble.

STEVE

Senior Help Desk Engineer

  • After high school I enlisted in the Marine Corps as a Rifleman and used the GI Bill to enter the IT career field. In the short time that I've been here I have had the privilege of moving from Helpdesk Tech to Helpdesk Manager to my current role of Alignment Compliance Engineer. In my spare time I enjoy running, fishing and gaming.

MICHAEL

Senior Help Desk & Project Engineer

  • I've been working in IT for twenty years. It's been my only profession. Any sort of new challenge interests me. I have no problem being wrong, but I love being right! I was 2009 and 2013 runner-up for "Most humble person in IT!" nbd.

TOM

Senior Help Desk Engineer

  • I have 28 years’ experience in the IT industry. After graduation I joined the United States Navy, where I served for 13 years. My family and I have lived in Union for the last 20 years. I spent time coaching football, basketball and weightlifting for Special Olympics. In my free time I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending time with my family, especially my grandkids.

HERBY

Alignment Compliance Engineer

  • I have been in IT for several years now with a mixed background of companies I have supported. I like to spend most of my time with my family, being outdoors or watching a good sporting event. I also am a member of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department and spend time training or responding to calls.
