Our Story
In 2006, our founder had a simple idea that most IT companies thought was crazy: what if you didn't lock clients into contracts? What if you just did great work and let that speak for itself?
He'd worked in IT across public, private, large, and small organizations. He'd seen the games — the break-fix billing where companies profit when your stuff breaks, the multi-year contracts designed to trap you, the jargon-filled reports nobody reads. He wanted to build the opposite.
STR started with one client and one belief: flat fee, proactive maintenance, aligned incentives. If your network goes down, we lose too. That changes everything about how we treat you.
Today we serve manufacturers, engineers, construction companies, healthcare providers, law firms, and retailers across Greater St. Louis. We're still in Union, Missouri. We still don't do contracts. And we still answer the phone when you call.
